Job descriptionJob Purpose:
Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring timely technical delivery, coordination, quality and support to project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering teams across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Piping disciplines.
• Plan, organize and control engineering activities in line with project schedules.
• Review and approve designs, drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement and Construction teams.
• Ensure smooth flow of technical information and timely resolution of engineering issues.
• Provide technical support and clarifications to Construction teams.
• Attend technical meetings, progress reviews and design discussions.
• Address client comments and ensure timely closure of technical queries.
• Provide technical inputs for Material Requisitions and vendor evaluations.
• Support expediting and inspection activities when required.
• Identify engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage technical changes, deviations and non-conformities with proper approvals.
• Minimize design changes, rework and technical delays.
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, complete and properly controlled.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas construction projects, including minimum 5 years in an engineering managerial/leadership role.
Technical Skills:
Multidisciplinary Engineering, Design Review, Technical Coordination, Project Planning, Engineering Documentation, Change Management and Problem Solving.
